Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for ER patients, including rapid assessment, triage, monitoring, and ongoing observation.
- Administer medications, start IVs, manage wounds, and perform necessary procedures within scope of practice.
- Document patient status and care activities accurately in the medical record; communicate findings to physicians and the multidisciplinary team.
- Respond to clinical changes and emergencies per hospital protocol; collaborate with nurses, physicians, and support staff to coordinate care and disposition.
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education, ensuring safe transitions from the ER to inpatient units or home as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active Hawaii RN license prior to start of contract.
- Ability to work consecutive weekends as needed.
- Availability for 12-hour rotating shifts.
- Willingness to participate in a 13-week travel assignment.
- Eligibility to work as a travel nurse in the United States and to fulfill ER nursing responsibilities in a hospital setting.
