Procurement Specialist

The position will be responsible for supporting the procurement team in various tasks. Seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, with strong administrative and organizational skills individual to work in the Procurement division of the Accounting Department of the New York office of a multinational financial services group based out of Spain. Job Description: Understand and support the Procurement Policy and Procedures. Assist on the new vendor on-boarding process to ensure all third-party vendor documents are current. Track contract status and renewals. Coordinate and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure accuracy and complete projects on a timely matter. Develop and build trusting business relationships with both stakeholders and suppliers engaged with the business. Support and maintain procurement reports. Coordinate approvals from different department if needed. Ensure all inquiries & invoices are line up with our Purchase orders accurately. Other duties as assigned to support the team in the administrative function. Qualifications: Bachelors Degree or Higher 2-5 years of Experiences in Procurement/Sourcing Proven experience in vendor risk management, third party assessments and related fields. Familiarity with reading and analyzing legal documents. Proficiency with Google Suite (Email, Calendar, Drive, & Sheets) & Microsoft Office Familiarity with Workday functionality, or the ability to quickly learn and use new applications.
