Sales Representative Western Massachusetts

Oz Wine Company, a well-established distributor and importer of fine wines from around the world, seeks a sales representative to join our team. This position will be based in Western Massachusetts (primary focus on Pioneer Valley & The Berkshires).

Successful candidates must live in this area, and have a minimum of 2 years experience working in the wine and spirits industry as a sales rep for a wholesale wine distributor, retailer, or supplier. On and off-premise experience is also considered. You must have strong selling, organizational, and communication skills, and solid wine knowledge. You must also have a reliable car, a MA drivers license, and be a MA resident.

The Job and Responsibilities:

Building new distribution in both on and off premise accounts throughout the assigned territories, while maintaining strong relationships with established customers by growing incremental placements.

Provide exemplary sales and ongoing customer service for all accounts, in addition to supporting accounts with wine tastings, dinners, events, etc.

Attend monthly sales meetings, annual portfolio tastings, and other company events.

Be able to lift 45 lbs.

Compensation:
Competitive Base Salary + Commission + benefits
