Join our dynamic team as an Electric Boat Service Technician in beautiful Newport Beach, CA! We are looking for a skilled technician who can provide top-notch service and maintenance for electric boats, ensuring our customers have the best experience on the water.
Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electric boats, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues, providing effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Conduct thorough inspections and testing of boat systems, including propulsion, battery, and charging systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
- Stay updated on the latest electric boat technologies and industry trends.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing any questions or concerns from boat owners.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in marine technology or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a service technician, preferably with electric boats or similar marine equipment.
- Strong understanding of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to customer locations as needed.
