Job Summary Travel Respiratory Therapist – Registered RT/RRT (NICU) located in Panama City, FL. Day shift assignment beginning May 25, 2026. 13-week travel assignment, 36 hours per week on 12‑hour day shifts, with 1 opening. Responsibilities Provide respiratory therapy services to neonatal and adult patients, emphasizing Level 3 NICU care. Work within the Respiratory Therapy department of a 216‑bed acute care hospital with a 28‑bed NICU. Cover variable patient ratios depending on day and area coverage. Administer surfactant delivery and assist with PB 840 and Dräger ventilators. Perform other duties as required for day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM). Weekend work may be required. Utilize Meditech EMR system. Requirements Active RRT license and certification required; license required if applicable. Minimum 2 years of experience in Respiratory Therapy, including adult and Level 3 NICU experience. Active experience within the last 6 months in the role applied for. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NRP (Advanced 9th Edition, American Academy of Pediatrics). AHA or ARC certifications accepted; no certification may expire within first 30 days of assignment start. Two professional references as required by Florida state law. US SSN and DOB required for consideration. No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within past 12 months. Additional Information Team‑oriented work environment with approximately 35 staff members. Royal blue scrubs required. Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from facility; local candidates not accepted. Facility holds Joint Commission Top Performer and accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI. Compensation & Benefits Pay package based on 12‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
