Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician, Surgical Technician

ARMStaffing is looking for a Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician, Surgical Technician (Day Shift) in Everett, Washington.

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule/Shift

4x10 Day Shift; regular hours are 06:30-17:00. On-call from 17:00-06:30 with at least 10 call shifts required per month. Must be available for 1-2 weekends per month.

Job Description

The Cardiovascular Operating Room Technician will play a critical role in the surgical team, providing support during cardiovascular surgical procedures, including CABG, AVR, AAA, MVR, and minimally invasive surgeries. The technician will be responsible for maintaining a sterile environment, assisting with instrument setups, and ensuring proper handling of equipment and supplies. Familiarity with flexible endoscope reprocessing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for use.
• Assist the surgical team during procedures by providing instruments and supplies as needed.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to surgical procedures.
• Float to general operating room as required and be a quick learner.
• Participate in call shifts as scheduled, providing support when required after regular hours.

Required Experience

Minimum of 1 year of experience in a surgical environment, specifically in cardiothoracic surgery.

Certifications/Licensure

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Washington state license required.
• NBSTSA certification preferred.
