Raytheon is seeking a Director, Operations/Supply Chain Management for the Advance Products & Solutions strategic business unit (SBU). The successful candidate will be responsible for directly leading a team of Program Operations Managers and Material Program Managers while overseeing a dynamic and complex program. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing program, operations and supply chain strategies, long-range planning, material forecasting oversight, quarterly EACs reviews, metrics and data analytics, and the overall execution of the program(s). The successful candidate will have the experience to influence and communicate effectively across multiple areas outside of one's own job function as well as with parties external to the organization.


What You Will Do

• Work closely with Program Management, Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Engineering, Quality, Production Control and Procurement to ensure successful supplier/factory management and execution in supporting program needs and requirements
• Long range planning, AOP responsibility and generation, Quarterly EAC review's, Material Sales Forecasting, material budget/target, and Risk & Opportunity Management
• Customer Proposal & Gate Review Support
• Develop and execute Material Strategies which support Customer requirements and meet Program objectives
• Issue/Conflict resolution within organizations, between organizations and with suppliers and/or customers
• Travel domestically and internationally, as required
• Lead a team of Program Operations Managers and Material Program Managers

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 14 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 12 years experience
• Experience as a Control Account Manager (CAM) with Earned Value Management

Qualifications We Prefer

• Experience leading personnel and teams in matrixed organizations as a collaborative leader that shares program information and requirements to enable success.
• Material Sales forecasting and execution experience
• Experience leading teams in cost reduction/process improvement initiatives.
• PM level 4 or above certification & MPM level 4 or above certification

The salary range for this role is 186,200 USD - 353,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
