The location in West Carrollton, (Ohio, United States), is seeking talent to fill the position of General Labor/Production Associate . This job is full-time permanent. Entry level production positions available. Individuals in these positions may be assigned to various departments based on operational needs. These assignments follow a rotating 8 hour Southern swing shift schedule, meaning you will work 3rd, 2nd, and 1st shift on a rotating basis. Candidates for these positions will need to: Understand the importance of always working safely Be driven to achieve and advance Work swing shifts (includes all shifts, most weekends and holidays) Be availableas neededfor overtime Have mechanical, numerical and verbal aptitude to learn quickly Must have forklift experience Workwell both as an individualand as part of a team Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Followingwritten or electronic standard operating procedures and instructions Adhere to all safety policies and requirements while working and operating equipment Operate necessary equipmentwhich may include: Mobile equipment Overheard cranes Winding and slitting equipment Coating processing& coating applicationequipment Packaging equipment Working as part of a team to help everyone succeed What we are looking for Previous manufacturing, forklift experience and prior shift work experience is preferred Must have a high school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 18 years of age Must be ableto work 8, 10, or 12 hours shifts including weekends and Holidays Basic math, reading comprehension, writing, mechanical aptitude and computer skills are a must The starting hourly rate is $20.00/hour with eligibility for shift differential. After 120 days, payrate goes to $26.92/hour or $27.95/hour depending upon the job you're qualified for. Holiday hours worked are paid at double-time, and shift differential is paid on 2nd and 3rd shifts. One week vacation after 6 months; 2 weeks of vacation after 1 year.
