Base Pay: $31.00-$40.40 per hour (based on experience)

Shift: 7:00 AM-3:00 PM

Glen Haven Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a skilled and adaptable Registered Nurse (RN) Float Nurse to join our nursing team on the 7:00 AM-3:00 PM day shift .

As an RN Float Nurse, you'll provide clinical support across nursing units based on resident and staffing needs. This position is ideal for an RN who enjoys variety, is confident stepping into different units, and wants to use their clinical skills to support both residents and fellow caregivers. RN Float Nurse Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in a skilled nursing, rehabilitation, and long-term care setting.
• Float between nursing units based on clinical and staffing needs.
• Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and changes in health status.
• Administer medications, treatments, and nursing interventions according to physician orders.
• Respond promptly to changes in resident condition and provide sound clinical judgment.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nursing leadership, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Supervise and support LPNs and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
• Assist with resident assessments and individualized care planning.
• Promote resident safety, infection prevention, and quality care throughout the facility.

Qualifications

• Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Skilled nursing, rehabilitation, long-term care, post-acute care, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly while working across different nursing units.
• Dependable, flexible, and committed to exceptional resident care.
