Household Manager

Household Assistant – Norwalk, Iowa Full-time | Monday–Friday, 7:00am–4:00pm | $24/hour, paid weekly We're a busy family in Norwalk looking for an experienced, dependable household assistant to help keep our home (and our mornings) running smoothly. If you're the kind of person who walks into a chaotic kitchen and instinctively starts making order out of it, you'll fit right in. The basics Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm with a 1-hour unpaid lunch (40 paid hours/week) $22 - $25 per hour, paid weekly W-2 employment with taxes withheld We provide a vehicle for use during work hours, fully covered under our auto insurance We provide a work phone Please note: this role does not currently include paid holidays, PTO, or sick time What you’ll be doing Helping get our two kids (ages 3 and 5) ready in the morning, feeding them breakfast, and driving them to school or camp Grocery shopping and preparing meals for the family General housekeeping and tidying Store returns, errands, and light household organizing projects Packing and shipping orders for our home-based business (printing labels, boxing packages, and carrier drop-offs) Occasional lifting (up to 50 lbs) when resetting or decluttering spaces Who we’re looking for At least 2 years of experience as a nanny, caregiver, or household assistant, with references Someone proactive and dependable with a real eye for detail Comfortable creating structure and bringing calm to busy mornings Enjoys planning meals, running errands, and keeping a household on track Comfortable around a small, friendly dog Requirements Clean driving record (you’ll be driving our kids in our vehicle) Background check required References from previous household or childcare roles Due to the nature of this role and the use of a provided vehicle, we’re not able to accommodate bringing your own children during the shift #J-18808-Ljbffr JMM Home Assist, LLC
