OB/GYN Physician – Clinic + In-House L&D CallAdventist Health White Memorial – Los Angeles, CATarget Start: July 2026 | 3 FTE NeededOpportunity OverviewAdventist Health White Memorial, a 353-bed Level III Trauma Center in Los Angeles, is seeking three Board-Certified OB/GYN physicians to join a well-structured clinic + call model supporting a high-volume, mission-driven women's health program.This is not a laborist-only role. Physicians maintain continuity through outpatient clinic, L&D coverage, OR time, and resident teaching within an established 9-provider rotation.Practice ModelSchedule: 4 clinic days per week (7:30a–5:30p)Call: 1:9 rotationCall Type: In-house L&D call (up to 24 hrs) with post-call day offOvernights: ~3–4 per monthModel: Clinic + Call (not hospitalist/laborist only)FTE Required: 3Clinical EnvironmentHospital & Unit Highlights353-bed hospitalLevel III Trauma CenterLevel III NICU (28 beds)11 L&D beds8 triage bedsBaby-Friendly designated (since 2015)Volume & Acuity~2,900–3,300 deliveries annually~240–280 deliveries per month~8–9 deliveries per day10–20% high-risk pregnanciesNTSV C-section rate ~27%Clinic volume: 20–30 patients per day3–4 GYN surgeries per dayDedicated full OR day monthly plus add-onsClinical ResponsibilitiesOutpatient OB/GYN clinic (4 days/week)In-house L&D call coverageED consults (OB/GYN related)OR coverage as neededTubal ligationsLow-volume circumcisionsVBAC encouragedRobotics availableFull supervision of:20-resident OB/GYN programFamily Medicine residents rotating through serviceSupport & ResourcesDedicated L&D RNsIn-house anesthesiaNeonatologist coverageOn-call MFMIn-house lab servicesOnsite ultrasoundNICU support (Level III)Transitioning EMR to Epic (currently Prime Clinical + Cerner)Midwives are not part of the staffing model — physician-led deliveries.RequirementsBoard Certified OB/GYNActive California Medical LicenseDEAClean malpractice history (no closed/settled cases accepted)Commitment to academic supervision and resident teachingCredentialing TimelineEstimated 3 monthsTemporary privileges available
