Distributes and balances the workload among employees in accordance with established flow or job specialization to assure timely accomplishment of the assigned workload.

Prepares and maintains various pharmacy records, files, and administrative reports determining and modifying format and content.

Receives and reviews individual prescriptions for a full range of pharmaceuticals.

Prepares, packages, and labels prescriptions and drug orders as ordered by the pharmacist and in accordance with pharmaceutical rules, regulations, and procedures.

Prepare and maintain controlled drug and regular prescription documents and records.

Provides training, assistance, and technical oversight as required.

Interprets orders for appropriateness and conformity with established pharmaceutical standards.
