Culinary Supervisor

Responsibilities Support the Culinary Manager & Assistant Manager in overall culinary operations ensuring quality and standards are adhered to. Maintain an in-depth understanding of the Erewhon brand and overall Café menu. Possess vast knowledge of all menu items, recipes and production methods for Erewhon Café offerings in compliance with quality standards and portions. Work closely with the Culinary Assistant Manager & Manager on daily requirements and par levels. Monitor and test food being cooked and prepared to ensure the highest level of quality and presentation based on company standards. Complete end‑of‑day inventory and other opening/closing duties in accordance with company checklists and procedures. Maintain freshness and quality of all menu items and package all products to proper specifications coming from the Commissary. Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and food is stored correctly. Assist in training and coaching line and prep cooks throughout daily operations. Qualifications Minimum of 2‑3 years of culinary/kitchen experience as a line cook covering advanced knife skills, frying, grilling, etc. Ability to clearly communicate with team members and work in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Must be flexible to work nights and weekends based on business needs. Food Handler Certification (Basic Food Safety) required.
