The ideal candidate will have strong planning, organization, and communication skills, in addition to meticulous attention to detail.Summary of Responsibilities:Partner with key program stakeholders to help execute signature Program Events (Experience Weeks, Onboarding, Graduation), supporting event and logistics support services (fun events, catering, swag, hotel room blocks, etc.) in accordance with Capital One's support process, standards and systemsManage program budgets, which includes tracking, forecasting, and auditing information on a regular basisHelp manage, identify, and implement process improvements that enhance the associate experience and/or operational efficiencyEnsure compliance to policies and procedures through monitoring and coachingCoordinate ongoing campus hire and internship trainings and communicationsManage program communications, including drafting and editing information to be distributed through Team calendar, Google Site, mailbox, newsletter and SlackBuild and own relationships with internal clients, stakeholders, and external vendorsMaintain upkeep of Google Drives and Google Sites spacesAbility to quickly and effectively adapt to changeHelp escalate issues to ensure efficient resolutionProven problem solving, analytical, and decision-making skillsAbility to embrace new systems and process enhancementsHigh degree of professionalism and integrity when interacting with all customer contactsBasic Qualifications:High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certificationAt least 2 years of experience in corporate event planning or project managementAt least 2 years of experience in Microsoft Office or Google SuitePreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree or military experienceAt least 3 years of experience in corporate event planning or project managementAt least 3 years of experience in Microsoft Office or Google SuiteExperience with recruitment processes in Finance, Commercial Banking, or Investment BankingExperience providing white-glove event serviceExperience working in an agile environmentThe minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.McLean, VA: $73,300 - $83,700 for HR AssociateCandidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate's offer letter.This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
