Details Advanced Endoscopy unit within a hospital setting Provides nursing care to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex Day shift schedule, 10-hour shifts, 5 days per week, 40 hours weekly Requirements Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC) BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association Minimum of 1 year of endoscopy experience required; advanced/interventional endoscopy experience preferred Associate's Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Strong knowledge of nursing theory, practices, and techniques Good verbal and written communication skills Basic computer skills Additional Information Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients and documents nursing interventions and treatment responses Assists physicians with examinations and minor diagnostic procedures Obtains and monitors patient physiological data and intervenes as necessary Administers medications and manages IV infusions and blood products Communicates care plans with patients and families, including at discharge Delegates tasks to support staff as needed Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible Full date of birth and Social Security number required for consideration Facility enforces strict credentialing and compliance deadlines with no flexibility for start date changes 30-day written notice required to cancel or end an assignment early American Traveler Job ID P-765248.
