Commercial Real Estate Asset Manager - Retail

We are seeking an experienced commercial real estate professional who understands both the financial performance of retail assets and the property operations behind those results, including common area maintenance (CAM).

This position combines asset strategy, financial analysis, lease negotiations, and property management, offering direct access to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence investment and operating decisions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to improve portfolio performance, profitability, and long-term asset value.
• Support retail tenant lease negotiations and renewals in coordination with senior leadership.
• Apply commercial property management and CAM knowledge to evaluate operating performance and identify improvements.
• Prepare property valuations, financial models, and return-on-investment analyses for capital improvements.
• Evaluate existing assets, development projects, potential acquisitions, and dispositions; present findings and recommendations to leadership.
• Maintain valuation models, transaction pipeline reports, and investment recommendation memos.
• Coordinate with legal and accounting teams to review real estate documentation and support transaction execution.
• Develop business development plans that support portfolio objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Real Estate, or a related field.
• At least five years of experience in real estate, finance, consulting, or a similar field.
• At least five years of experience in retail tenant lease negotiations, budget management, and valuation analysis.
• Demonstrated commercial property management experience and a strong understanding of CAM.
• Experience with shopping centers, freestanding retail properties, or comparable commercial retail assets.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills, including financial modeling.
• Ability to communicate findings clearly and present recommendations to senior leadership.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
