  • Review blueprints and engineering drawings and convert them into accurate drafting documents.
  • Apply redlines to drawings, updating and revising plans based on feedback from project managers and civil engineers.

Essential Skills
  • At least 1 year of drafting experience.
  • At least 1 year of AutoCAD experience.
  • A 2-year associate degree in Civil Technology, Civil Technician, or a similar field.
  • Experience producing civil drafting plans from blueprints and engineering drawings.
  • Ability to apply redlines and revise drawings accurately and efficiently.
  • Fundamental understanding of site development concepts such as grading and slope.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in drafting work.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with project managers and civil engineers in a team environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • 1 or more years of experience with civil 3D or similar civil design tools.
  • 2 or more years of experience in site development work.
  • Experience with land development and commercial site design.
  • Familiarity with site development workflows, including grading, slope, and related design considerations.
  • Exposure to a variety of civil projects, from small to large scale.
Work Environment

The role is based in a small, tight-knit office located in Blaine, Minnesota, where you will work on-site 100% of the time. The team includes project managers, several civil engineers, and other drafters, fostering close collaboration and mentorship opportunities. The culture is laid-back and professional, with a casual dress code of jeans and polos.
