Clinical Psychologist – Veteran Disability Assessments

We are looking for a committed Clinical Psychologist to become part of our team, focusing on conducting medical evaluations for U.S. Veterans as a component of the VA's disability benefits process. In this role, you will assess behavioral health records electronically through a secure web portal and carry out thorough in-person evaluations for each Veteran.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-person disability assessments for U.S. Veterans.
• Review and interpret electronic medical records via a secure web portal.
• Accurately document findings from examinations and complete necessary VA forms.

It is important to note that disability determinations are made by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and not by the assessing provider.

Schedule:

• Part-Time: 2 days per week, specifically Thursday and Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
• Average caseload of 4 Veterans per day.

Provided Equipment:

• All necessary tools for documentation, including a computer.

Qualifications:

• A compassionate Psychologist who is dedicated to serving the Veteran community.
• Strong analytical abilities to evaluate medical records and assessment data.
• Proficient in electronic documentation and navigating web-based portals.
• Professional and empathetic approach when interacting with Veterans.
• Must hold a Doctorate in Psychology from an APA-accredited institution.
• Possess an active and unrestricted Psychology license.
