Position: Activities Assistant
Facility: Lake Eustis Healthcare & Rehabilitation
Location: Eustis, Florida
Schedule: Part-Time
Pay Rate: $15 per hour

Lake Eustis Healthcare & Rehabilitation is looking for a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team! In this role, you will help create meaningful and engaging experiences for our residents by supporting recreational programs that promote social connection, emotional well-being, and overall quality of life.

Working alongside the Activity Director, you’ll play a key role in fostering a positive and inclusive environment where every resident feels valued, engaged, and supported.

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading recreational activities based on residents’ interests and abilities

• Observe and report changes in residents’ mood, behavior, and participation

• Collaborate with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members to support individualized activity plans

• Conduct interviews with residents and families to better understand preferences and goals

• Support resident assessments and assist with discharge planning as needed

• Supervise and participate in community outings and special events

• Set up and maintain activity areas, ensuring cleanliness and safety of equipment

• Accurately document resident participation and progress

• Must obtain a C.N.A. Certification

• Compassionate, enthusiastic, and dependable team player

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the day, and lift 5–45 pounds as needed

• Experience working with the geriatric population required (nursing home or healthcare setting preferred)

• Must meet all health requirements, including required medical examinations
