Full-Time School-Based Occupational Therapist – Tacoma, WA

Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Tacoma, WA 98402
Position Type: Full-Time | School-Based

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) for a full-time school-based opportunity in Tacoma, Washington. The OT will work closely with students and multidisciplinary school teams to help students improve their independence and ability to participate successfully in their educational environment.

Responsibilities:

Evaluate students' occupational therapy needs
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Provide direct and consultative OT services
Develop and monitor goals related to students' IEPs
Complete documentation and progress monitoring
Collaborate with teachers, parents, COTAs, and other related-service professionals

Requirements:

Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited OT program
Active Washington State Occupational Therapist license required
NBCOT examination/certification requirements as applicable
Minimum 1 year of relevant OT experience preferred
Previous school-based or pediatric experience strongly preferred
Experience supporting students with a range of physical, sensory, developmental, and educational needs
Strong IEP, documentation, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills

Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday | School Hours
