Position The Co Team Leader is responsible for providing leadership for the successful operation of the entire sales floor and receiving area. The CTL creates and leads a sales team focused on selling merchandise and delivering a positive associate and customer experience. Responsibilities include merchandising, associate development, customer service, and financial oversight. Primary Responsibilities Assist the Store Team Leader with managing payroll budgets, expenses, store banking, shrink reduction, and timely completion of related reports to meet financial and operational goals. Demonstrate Ollie’s “Yes I Care, Yes I Can” behaviors in providing exceptional associate and customer service experiences; ensure company standards are consistently demonstrated in every interaction. Ensure store standards, seasonal transition planning, inventory processes, and company programs meet operational expectations. Develop and execute talent planning to ensure associate growth. Ensure proper scheduling and staffing for business needs. Perform all functions to open and close the store when needed and handle any additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent. Minimum of 2 years of retail management experience with a mid to large size retailer. Schedule flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons on a regular basis. Must have a valid Driver’s license. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to push and pull up to 35 pounds. Ability to stand for extended periods and to work in a safe manner. Ollie’s is an equal opportunity employer.
