For more information, visit Responsibilities Paramedic is responsible for triage, assessment, patient education, and patient plan of care for patients in the ED, under the supervision of the staff nurse and/or physician. Assists with patient care based on individual patient needs within scope of practice; assists in maintenance of a safe environment and performs under direction and supervision of the ED Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse. Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent or related experience required. Current state Paramedic licensure and state approved Paramedic Training required. Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current. One year experience as Paramedic preferred. Current ACLS (AHA) certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current. Current PALS (AHA) certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
