Overview Airline Baggage Handler – RDU Airport job at Guardian Proservices. Morrisville, NC. Guardian Professional Services seeks experienced Baggage Handlers for Morning, Evening and Overnight Shifts. The role involves safe and courteous baggage handling for airline passengers and supporting efficient airport operations. Responsibilities The Airline Baggage Handler Agent verifies passenger boarding passes with their checked bags and moves bags to the security screening induction system. Load passenger luggage onto the security screening induction belt. Work closely with the Airline Ticket Counter Agents. Provide customer service as part of the baggage handling process. Qualifications & Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Authorized to work in the United States Must pass background clearance verification Must have a valid Driver's License and proof of car insurance Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs consistently throughout the shift Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, push, and pull throughout the shift Ability to obtain an airport badge Experience in customer service preferred; hospitality experience a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation to communicate with internal and external customers Complete all required training including airport compliance Appearance Guidelines Employees are expected to present a professional business-like image when working behind the scenes at the Airport. No visible tattoos or body piercings are allowed. Tattoos must be covered by the uniform or other management-approved means. Clean and well-maintained approved uniforms must be worn on shift. Additional requirements as specified by management and location.
