Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC - $2,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Position Summary Walmart is expanding its workforce across local retail stores and is actively recruiting a Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician. Your role will support and oversee repair within the Walmart facilities Refrigeration HVAC equipment team by utilizing commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and tools to complete jobs. Responsibilities Maintain and repair Walmart facility’s Refrigeration HVAC equipment and assets using commercial HVAC and refrigeration skills and hand, digital, and power tools. Utilize the work order management system to receive and document repair activities for stores and store associates. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, or test facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues. Complete all required training to operate equipment and tools safely. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations and policies. Lift up to 75 pounds, move up and down ladders, and work at heights as needed. Minimum Qualifications 2 years’ experience in commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance. Large scale rack refrigeration experience. Type I/Type II or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Valid state‑issued driver’s license with a clean driving record. Minimum 18 years of age and high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Completion of a 2‑year vocational or technical HVAC/R program. Mechanical license in city or state where the job is located. Compensation and Benefits Individual compensation packages are based on skill set, experience, and other factors. You may be eligible for a bonus incentive.
