Position: RN - ICU Days

Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:00)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team for day shifts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing with at least two years of experience. This role requires a compassionate and dedicated individual who is committed to providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU.
Monitor and assess patients' health status and respond to changes in their conditions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Ensure compliance with established protocols and standards of care.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required.
California RN license in hand.
Previous charge experience is preferred.
Experience with charting systems, specifically Paragon, is a plus.

Skills Required

Strong clinical skills in Medical, Neuro, Surgical, and Trauma Intensive Care Units.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Capability to adapt to changing workload and patient acuities.

Additional Information

The selected candidate will need to complete the following courses onsite within 30 days of starting:

Assaultive Behavior Course: $80
Fire Card Course: $50

All employees may be required to float to different units as needed based on patient and staffing needs. Candidate flexibility regarding floating will be essential.
