Reports to: Riverview K-8 School Principal. Classification: Certified Exempt - Full-Time (1.0 FTE / 40 hours per week) Contract period: 185 working days.

Salary range: $54,000 to $83,500 (Based on education and years of relevant teaching experience). The annual salary listed above is based on a full-time, 8-hour workday (FTE 1) and a full working calendar. For positions with less than a full FTE or reduced hours, such as part-time or late-start positions, the salary will be prorated accordingly. Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate educator who demonstrates a commitment to engaging, standards-based instruction to be part of our 50/50 two-way dual language program. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in lesson planning, tailored to meet diverse student needs, and will foster positive relationships with students from a variety of backgrounds. A genuine enthusiasm for creating relevant and dynamic learning experiences in the classroom is essential. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the selected candidate will serve as a Crew Leader for a group of students throughout the academic year. As a Crew Leader, the teacher will act as an advocate for students, serve as the primary point of contact between parents and the school, build meaningful relationships, and create impactful experiences. This role also includes monitoring and supporting students' academic and social progress. This position is open to English only or bilingual (Spanish & English) candidates.

Education and Licensing Guidelines: Elementary or middle school teaching experience preferred. Bachelor degree or higher from an accredited institution in Elementary Education or related field of study. An active Colorado Teaching License in Elementary Education K-6 [or similar] or the ability to obtain. Official transcripts must be provided upon hire. For international transcripts, an evaluation is required through a member organization of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES).

Desired Qualifications: Experience teaching a diverse population of students including English Language Learners and previous work with intentionally implementing culturally responsive instruction. Solid understanding of core subjects such as Literacy, language arts, mathematics, science, and social studies. Effective teaching strategies to engage young learners, including differentiation, lesson planning, and assessment. Ability to maintain a positive and productive classroom environment. Tailoring teaching methods to meet the needs of diverse learners, including those with special needs. Familiarity with educational technology and digital tools that support learning.

Desired Core Competencies: Openness to coaching, feedback, and reflection for continuous improvement. Values-driven instructional leadership and professionalism. Strong sense of personal ownership and passion for improving outcomes for all students. Speaking and writing ability in Spanish.

Physical Requirements: May include, standing and walking for extended periods; bend, stoop, and lift materials; reach for supplies on high shelves; use manual dexterity for tasks like writing and using technology; communicate clearly and effectively with students; climb stairs in multi-level buildings.
