Accounting Specialist – Accounts Payable & Accounts ReceivableOur client is a well-established leader in the manufacturing industry, they are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join their finance team. This position will play a key role in supporting daily accounting operations with a primary focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.Responsibilities for the Accounting Specialist:Accurately process accounts payable transactions, including vendor invoices, expense reports, and payment disbursements.Manage accounts receivable processes, including customer invoicing, payment application, and collections activities.Prepare and maintain account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reporting support.Collaborate with internal departments to resolve discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies.Maintain organized financial records in accordance with established standards.Qualifications for the Accounting Specialist:Minimum of 2 years of professional accounting experience, with demonstrated expertise in AP and AR.Prior experience within the manufacturing industry is strongly preferred.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP/accounting systems.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.High level of integrity and commitment to accuracy.If you are seeking an opportunity to apply your accounting expertise in a stable and growing manufacturing company, we invite you to submit your application for consideration.
