Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Rocky Mount NC you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an unarmed Security Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents and support a welcoming environment for patients visitors and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring reliable team that acts with integrity.

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors staff and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and emergency response activities within a healthcare setting.
• Respond to incidents medical emergencies and critical situations in a calm professional problem-solving manner following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of hospital buildings patient care areas entrances parking areas and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Assist with visitor access directions and access-control procedures while maintaining a courteous and professional presence.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations incidents and concerns to appropriate personnel and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
