Child Nutrition Worker III (7 HOURS)

High School Diploma or equivalent AND:

• One (1) year paid experience in preparing foods in a commercial or institutional operation.
• Knowledge of quantity food preparation.
• Knowledge of operation of kitchen equipment and computers.
• Practices of sanitation and safety related to food service.
• Must be serve safe certified within six (6) months and renew certification every five (5) years.
• Two (2) recent letters of reference attached to application.

Applicants must successfully complete each part of the examination process in order to be considered further. WRITTEN TEST: TO BE DETERMINED. (PLEASE CHECK YOUR EMAIL FOR AN INVITATION TO TEST) PERFORMANCE TEST: TO BE DETERMINED SCORING: WRITTEN EXAMINATION & PERFORMANCE EXAMINATION MUST BE PASSED WITH A 75% OR BETTER ON EACH TEST IN ORDER TO ADVANCE ONTO INTERVIEWS. All examinations must be passed with 75% or better. An eligibility list will be in effect for 6 months or until fewer than 3 applicants remain on the list. If FIVE (5) permanent employees from the Lancaster School District demonstrates the ability to meet the job qualifications, the position will be filled on a promotional basis.
