Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in the Med-Surg Acute Care/OBS unit using the nursing process (assess, plan, implement, evaluate)
- Administer medications, monitor responses, manage IVs and lines, and ensure patient safety and comfort
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the care team; participate in rounds and care planning
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes; maintain accurate and timely charting
- Prepare patients for procedures, assist with admissions and discharges, and support discharge planning and patient/family education

Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Minimum 2 years of Acute Care/Med-Surg/Telemetry or similar RN experience
- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts with weekend rotation; may include call shifts as staffing requires
- Must provide resume, Nursys License, Skills Sheet, BLS and ACLS certificates

- Traveler housing possibilities near the assignment, with options through Valley View: furnished studio or small one-bedroom apartments, approximately 0.5 blocks from the work site; studio about $1,790/month and small one-bedroom about $1,980/month, includes Wi-Fi, utilities, on-site laundry, fully furnished; no pets; no deposit; move-in ready. Availability may vary.
