Social Media Manager

Purpose of Position:

Manage a social strategy that supports and elevates the brand through creating innovative social content, strategies and brand campaigns.


Essential Job Functions:

1. Drive the design, management and execution of a a clear and impactful social strategy that will grow the bank's social media following, increase engagement, and position the bank as a unique thought leader in the impact banking space.
2. Own all day-to-day operations for the bank's owned social media channels, including daily monitoring and engagement on the bank's channels.
3. Work with the creative team to develop new and engaging content ideas and strategies to engage the bank's audience.
4. Identify and manage external partnerships and campaigns with relevant brands, organizations, and influencers.
5. Manage and have a deep understanding of paid social media strategies and buys.
6. Provide social media support to internal stakeholder initiatives.
7. Develop and manage editorial calendar to ensure alignment of content with relevant seasonal, product, and brand events.
8. Develop and maintain regular reports on social analytics and track against KPIs, optimizing content with the use of analytical tools with actionable recommendations.
9. Identify emerging social channels, trends and content.
10. Work to ensure alignment on content that builds brand awareness and optimizes growth strategies.
11. Develop deep understanding of company brand voice and tone.
12. Provide general marketing support and assist with other marketing functions and day-to-day requests as needed.
13. Perform other duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience Requirements :

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
2. 6-8 years of related experience in social media marketing
3. Deep understanding of social media channels in B2B and B2C engagement
4. Ability to utilize digital and social marketing to meet marketing and company-wide objectives
5. Creative thinker with proven experience creating social media content, campaigns and strategy
6. Experience with video and content creation tools
7. In-depth understanding of marketing, industry, and social media trends
8. Ability to manage and track campaign KPIs and SEO with social media analytics platforms
9. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects, deliverables and deadlines simultaneously and with flexibility
10. Vendor management experience
11. Excellent writer with strong verbal and presentation skills
12. Ability to work effectively as part of a team to drive projects and deliverables

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The starting base salary for this role is between $100,000.00 - $115,000.00. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferrable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.

Hybrid Work Model
Effective February 18, 2025, employees in office-based positions will be working a Hybrid work schedule consisting of three days or more, on-site per week, Monday - Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. This Hybrid work model does not apply to, and daily in-person attendance is required for, the contact center, branch service roles, and general services where the work to be performed is located at a Company site; positions covered by a collective-bargaining agreement (unless the agreement provides for hybrid work); or any other position for which the Company has determined the job requirements cannot be reasonably met working remotely.
