As an Apartment Maintenance Technician, you will play a vital role in the daily operations of the community by responding to maintenance requests, completing repairs, supporting preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring the overall appearance and functionality of the property.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete routine and emergency maintenance service requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform general repairs in apartments and common areas, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and identify potential issues before they become major problems.
• Prepare vacant apartment homes for new residents by completing make-ready and turn procedures.
• Troubleshoot maintenance concerns and determine efficient repair solutions.
• Maintain grounds, amenities, and common areas to community standards.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of completed work orders and maintenance activities.
• Assist with property inspections and community improvement projects.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while interacting with residents, vendors, and team members.

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance, facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or related experience preferred.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, carpentry, and general maintenance practices.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, professional, and safety-conscious.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
