Responsibilities may include:Assisting residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding and personal hygieneMonitoring and reporting changes in residents’ conditions, behaviors, or overall well-being to the appropriate nursing staffMeasuring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respirations, as assignedAssisting with meals, feeding, and hydration while following individual care plans and dietary requirementsProviding emotional support and promoting residents’ comfort, dignity, independence, and quality of lifeFollowing infection prevention protocols, facility policies, and established safety procedures.Documenting care provided and communicating important information to nursing staff and other members of the healthcare teamPerforming other duties as assigned within the scope of CNA certification and facility requirementsQualificationsActive Certified Nursing Assistant certification in South Dakota, or the ability to obtain certification through reciprocity or endorsement, as applicableMust be at least 18 years of agePrevious CNA experience preferredAbility to adapt to different facility environments, care plans, and resident needsMust maintain all required certifications, credentials, and professional standards.Must meet applicable facility-specific requirements and complete all required pre-employment screenings and onboarding procedures.Equal Employment OpportunityWe are an equal opportunity employer and prohibit discrimination/harassment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender
