About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President of Safety, Security, and Compliance to oversee and manage the day-to-day operations related to airport safety, security, and emergency response. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure airport environment, coordinating with various regulatory and emergency agencies, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. This role involves leading airport certification programs, developing and implementing strategic plans, and overseeing the mobilization of protective and emergency services. The Vice President will also be tasked with managing a departmental budget, contract activities, and staff, and must have a strong background in management principles, safety, and environmental regulations, and project management. Candidates for the Vice President position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree preferred, and at least 12 years of direct experience. Essential qualifications include Security Identification Display Area (SIDA) clearance, Airport Security Coordinator Certification, and professional accreditation through relevant airport management associations. The role requires a candidate with demonstrated skills in staff management, communication, negotiation, and the ability to maintain effective relationships. Experience in contract management, and project management, and a strong understanding of safety and environmental regulations are also necessary. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in team leadership, the ability to make independent judgments, and a commitment to the highest standards of safety and security in the airport environment.
