School Social Worker

Description:
We are seeking a qualified School Social Worker to support students at a high school campus in Thornton, CO. This is a full-time position providing social-emotional and mental health support to students with a range of educational and behavioral needs. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide social work and mental health services to high school students.
• Support students with Special Education (SPED) needs, including Mild/Moderate, Affective Needs, and Significant Support populations.
• Provide services to students whose IEPs include mental health services .
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
• Develop and maintain appropriate documentation and service records.
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, counselors, and other school staff.
• Support students' social-emotional, behavioral, and academic success.
• Manage caseloads and service minutes based on campus needs.

• Master's degree in Social Work, School Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current Colorado Department of Education (CDE) credential required and must be in hand.
• School-based or SPED experience preferred.
• Experience supporting students with mental health, behavioral, or social-emotional needs preferred.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary school team.
