Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab RN with Cath Lab, PV, EP, and structural heart experience for a 12-week contract in Naperville, IL.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab unit in a hospital setting
• 12-week contract with 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
• On-call rotation required for weekends and holidays, approximately 7-8 days per month
• No floating required
• First week consists of orientation

Requirements

• Active IL RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart or American Red Cross for BLS)
• Minimum 2+ years of Cath Lab experience required, including PV, EP, and structural heart procedures
• 3-5 years of experience preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience required with at least 1 completed travel assignment
• Epic EMR experience required
• New graduates will not be considered

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care in the Cardiac Cath Lab, performing diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
• Candidates must provide date of birth for consideration
• Two professional references required, with one reference mandatory from the most recent travel assignment
• Must work at least 1-2 holidays during the contract
• RTO limited to a maximum of 7 days for 13-week contracts
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Returning permanent or per diem staff must have been away from the facility for at least 12 months to be eligible
• Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate
• Local radius rule of 50 miles applies
• Candidates must complete an EKG competency test as part of the hiring and onboarding process
