Purple Drive PSA Engineer – Network Transmission - EMS/SCADA Share Contractual Melbourne, FL | Bellevue, WA PDT - 8903 8-10 10/03/2025 Overview: Essential Skills & Responsibilities: Design, development, customization, and delivery of Energy Management Systems for Electric Power Utilities. Proficient in Electric SCADA, Power DMS, and Transmission EMS implementations. Strong expertise in C, Java, SQL/Oracle Database. Hands-on experience with Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) using C++, Full Stack Java, or equivalent languages. 5+ years of experience with AEMS product design and development. Knowledge of Linux and Windows Operating Systems. Strong skills in SQL, shell scripting, log analysis, and debugging. Experience in system configuration, patch installation, and third-party software integration (e.g., Oracle, NetApp). Familiarity with version control tools such as GitHub and ClearCase. Proven ability to analyze, identify, and resolve complex system issues in real-time environments. Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills with experience in mission-critical systems. Experience in installing fixes on live customer systems without disruption. Desirable Skills: 5–8 years of relevant experience in Transmission EMS, SCADA, and Power Systems applications. Prior experience working in real-time or mission-critical environments. Strong problem-solving and communication skills with the ability to work independently and within teams.
