Motion Designer As a Motion Designer, bring Fanatics Betting & Gaming's social content and creative storytelling to life through engaging, innovative, and culturally relevant motion design across Fanatics Sports & Casino and FanApp. In this role, you'll work closely with our Social and Content Team to develop and execute motion-driven content across always-on social, real-time sports moments, original programming, serialized content franchises, and larger brand campaigns. You'll help transform creative ideas into entertaining, visually compelling content designed to capture attention and resonate with sports fans across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, and X. We're looking for someone who does more than execute creative briefs. You'll be expected to proactively bring fresh ideas to the table, pitch new concepts, experiment with emerging formats, and identify opportunities to make our content stand out. Whether you're developing an original motion concept, elevating an existing video, or reacting to a viral sports moment, you'll play an important role in shaping how our brand shows up on social. Success will be measured by your ability to: Proactively develop and pitch creative ideas, motion concepts, and new content formats that elevate our social presence. Have a go-getter mindset. Create high-quality, engaging motion graphics and video content that capture attention, drive engagement, and perform across social platforms. Serve as a reliable creative partner to our Social Programmers, Creatives, and Producers, providing motion design support across daily content, serialized programming, and larger campaigns. Stay ahead of emerging social trends, platform behaviors, and creative techniques, consistently bringing new ideas and inspiration to the team. Balance speed, creativity, and execution while delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced, always-on social environment. Responsibilities Conceptualize, design, and execute engaging motion graphics and animated content across Fanatics Betting & Gaming's social platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube, YouTube Shorts, and X. Collaborate closely with Social Programmers, Creatives, and Producers to provide motion design support across always-on social, real-time sports coverage, serialized content, and larger marketing campaigns. Proactively pitch original creative concepts, motion treatments, and innovative storytelling formats that elevate our content and help differentiate our brand on social. React quickly to breaking sports news, trending moments, and cultural conversations, creating timely, platform-native content that resonates with fans. Experiment with emerging creative tools, technologies, and motion design techniques to continuously push creative boundaries and improve content performance. Stay deeply connected to sports, entertainment, internet culture, and evolving social platform trends, identifying new opportunities to bring fresh ideas to the team. Requirements 1–3 years of experience in motion design, animation, video editing, social content creation, or a related creative discipline. Strong proficiency in Adobe After Effects, Premiere Pro, etc., along with AI-assisted creative workflows, with a portfolio showcasing exceptional motion design, video editing, and social-first storytelling. A proactive, curious, and experimental mindset with a passion for emerging creative technologies and pushing the boundaries of social content. Passion for sports and experience creating entertaining, culturally relevant, and platform-native social content. Strong conceptual thinking and creative storytelling, with the ability to develop original ideas and own projects from concept through execution. Deep understanding of social platforms, emerging trends, and audience behaviors, with the ability to react quickly to real-time sports and cultural moments. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing speed and craft across reactive content and premium creative executions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects independently, embrace feedback, and contribute creatively across teams.
