This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in virtual design and building information modeling for commercial projects in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and/or mechanical piping. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn, develop valuable skills, and contribute to our continued success.Responsibilities:Work directly with VDC team members on current projectsWork with field staff on questions with drawings or modelsGain experience in Revit and other design software/equipmentPotentially visit working job sites to shadow installations of mechanica/electrical systemsStrategize for events/items to maintain and boost team moraleInteract respectfully and productively with all types of people regardless of social or economic statusPrepare presentation for Leadership at the completion of the internshipQualifications:Undergraduate student pursuing a degree in Construction Management or Construction EngineeringExcellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work independently while maintaining a team-first mindsetDesire to learn and growTransportation and ability to commute to the Altavista Offices and our job sitesGreat sense of humorWhat We Offer:A paid internship with a flexible scheduleA hands-on learning experience in a growing industryMentorship from experienced business professionalsExposure to various aspects of business analytics and continuous improvementA dynamic and supportive work environmentOpportunities for future full-time employmentMoore's is an equal opportunity employer.For more information on Moore's Electrical & Mechanical, make sure to visit our website at screen and background checks will be performed.
