Job Description
Job Title: Maintenance Group Leader - 3rd shift
\nMission: To lead Maintenance personnel and provide shop floor support.
\nWhat would your typical day look like?
\n- \n
- Lead Maintenance group \n
- Initiate, plan, design, and implement improvements to current processes to ensure productivity, quality, and safety. \n
- Design tooling and fixtures \n
- Shop floor support \n
- Forecast and control budget requirements for the maintenance department. \n
- Provide operator training, work instructions, and process control plans for implemented projects and improvements. \n
- Responsible for critical spare parts, order, track, and store stock parts required to maintain production needs. \n
- Verify Pm’s are completed, add, and modify Pm’s as needed to maintain production needs. \n
- Plan and manage daily, weekly, and yearly repairs for production. \n
- Budget, track, and control monthly overtime for department \n
- Control and maintain shop floor software and hardware as related to maintenance. \n
- Assist the Quality department with resolving process related quality defects relating to production. \n
- Maintain and improve manufacturing processes and error proofing systems. \n
- Communicate improvements to the Quality and Manufacturing departments. \n
- Assist the Product Engineering Group in processing, costing, implementing, launching, and maintaining GM engineering changes. \n
Academic and Experience
\n- \n
- Minimum high school education \n
- Associate degree in related field, or combination of education and related experience \n
- 2 years Supervisory experience \n
- 2 - 5 years maintenance management experience (installation, repair, maintenance of plant equipment. \n
- Participation in a significant role on the MOS, either deploying a practice, training in a tool or methodology, leading problem solving or other applied leadership experience. \n
Technical Skills:
\n- \n
- Proficient computer skills/Microsoft suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point) \n
- Proficient in equipment trouble shooting. \n
- Proficient with CadKey light or AutoCAD \n
- Thorough understanding of Ladder Logic \n
- Interpret Blueprints, material specifications, and other customer requirements. \n
- Proficient with programming logic controllers such as Allen Bradley and GE Fanuc \n
- PLC, robots and Automation \n
- Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Drives, Electrical and Quality Management System \n
- Human Development Management \n
- Core Manufacturing Processes (Stamping, Assembly, Painting, Welding, Hydroforming) \n
