Immediate Physical Therapist Opportunity

Midtown Pain and Performance Center is seeking a New York State-licensed physical therapist to focus on rehabilitation and improving patients' physical function. The position is Monday through Friday with varying hours (11 am to 7 pm for 3 days and 10 am to 7 pm for 2 days). The pay starts at $48/hr for the first 65 days and increases to mid-$60s/hr thereafter.

Duties include:

• Patient Assessment: Evaluate patients' physical conditions and functional abilities. Review medical histories and conduct physical examinations.
• Treatment Planning: Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessments. Collaborate with chiropractors to integrate care strategies.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Administer physical therapy techniques such as exercises, manual therapy, and modalities. Educate patients on proper body mechanics and injury prevention.
• Progress Monitoring: Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Document treatment outcomes and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Patient Education: Guide home exercises and lifestyle modifications. Explain the role of physical therapy in conjunction with chiropractic care.
• Collaboration: Work closely with chiropractors and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment approaches.
