Territory Manager-Cleveland

Location: Cleveland, OH | Schedule: Full-time, field-based (mobile store) Overview A long-established, family-owned distributor of industrial hardware is seeking a Territory Manager to serve customers across a defined Cleveland-area territory. The company operates fully stocked mobile stores that bring hardware products and service directly to customers in sectors such as transportation, aviation, facilities maintenance, aerospace, medical, military, marine, power generation, manufacturing, government, and heavy equipment. This role is central to driving new business and maintaining strong customer relationships through direct, in-person sales. What you'll do Develop new sales prospects through research, referrals, and outreach to businesses near existing customers Make face-to-face calls on both cold and warm sales prospects Present products and services using sample boards, product demonstrations, and the mobile store Maintain the cleanliness, operation, marketing, and functionality of the mobile store Submit complete and accurate daily business reports detailing sales orders and prospect calls Maintain accurate customer contact information, including notes, names, phone numbers, and addresses, using company software Required qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Must reside within the assigned territory; relocation is not available Must be able to purchase or lease an approved mobile store vehicle Must maintain a clean driving history Physical ability to kneel and bend to the floor on a regular basis, as required to operate the mobile store Strong, stable work history with no pattern of frequent job changes; ideally no more than 3 companies over the past 10 years Excellent analytical, reasoning, and organizational skills Proficiency with databases, spreadsheets, email, and common business applications Demonstrated ability to work independently with a proven history of goal attainment Preferred qualifications Outside industrial sales experience, especially in route or industrial sales Why this role This position offers the opportunity to run an independent, mobile sales operation serving a wide range of industries, with the autonomy to build and manage your own territory. #J-18808-Ljbffr Software Placement Group
