General Manager

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on General Manager to lead the operations at one of our Manhattan locations. This high-volume, multi-level venue requires a strategic leader who excels at operational excellence, team development, guest engagement, and financial management.

Key Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership: Oversee daily front-of-house and back-of-house operations to maintain high service standards, quality control, and guest satisfaction.

• Financial Management: Drive profitability by managing P&L statements, inventory, labor costs, supplier contracts, and prime cost budgets.

• Team Building & Culture: Recruit, train, mentor, and retain a high-performing team of managers, bartenders, floor staff, and support staff.

• Event & Volume Execution: Lead the team through major sports broadcasts, private events, dynamic high-volume night shifts, and steady lunch/dinner service.

• Compliance & Safety: Maintain strict compliance with DOH standards, SLA guidelines, labor laws, and OSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years as a General Manager in a high-volume NYC bar, pub, or casual dining environment. AGMs ready to grow will be considered too!

• NYC Market Knowledge: Understanding of SLA regulations, DOH standards, and Downtown Manhattan nightlife/dining dynamics.

• Financial Acumen: Proven track record of managing venue P&Ls, controlling labor/COGS, and hitting revenue targets.

• Systems Proficiency: Experience with modern POS systems (Toast preferred), scheduling software, inventory management platforms, and Excel.

• Leadership Style: Energetic, approachable, highly organized, and calm under pressure.
