MRI Technologist Travel Assignment

Jackson HealthPros is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a travel assignment in Tucson, AZ at a hospital. The MRI Technologist will perform prescribed MRI procedures according to department protocols, produce high-quality diagnostic images, educate patients and families about procedures, perform equipment quality control and troubleshooting, and maintain accurate documentation. The role requires professional conduct, adherence to safety and confidentiality standards, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to support efficient department workflow and positive patient outcomes.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification or modality-qualified licensure (NMTCB, ARDMS, ARMRIT).
• State licensure as required by Arizona regulatory agency.
• Advance MRI certification required within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification.
• Experience performing MRI procedures in an acute hospital setting and producing high-quality diagnostic images.
• Demonstrated competence with MRI equipment quality control and basic troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Additional related education and/or MRI experience preferred.

• Shift Hours: 07:00-19:30.
• Shift Name: Days.
• Travel assignment in a hospital setting.
