CNC MachinistDaytona Beach, Florida, United StatesTechnetics Semi Operations Full-Time/RegularJob Summary:Manufactures a wide range of complex parts using machine tools, including maximizing efficiency through the operation process and observing multiple CNC Mills and Lathes.Essential Functions:Performs basic set-up and operation of limited scope of machines with supervision.Writes basic programs for CNC machines with supervision.Manufactures parts from drawing or blueprints.Performs tool recalibration.Sharpens and modifies cutting tools.Performs basic machine maintenance, lubrication, and recalibration.Inspects work using inspection tooling (i.e. micrometers, calipers, etc.) to accurately measure complex part features.Deburrs parts.Additional Responsibilities and Requirements:Promotes the safety and welfare of workers.Collaborate with Quality and Engineering teams.Maintains a clean environment by performing general housekeeping duties.Presents a positive work ethic and builds a strong sense of teamwork, purpose and group cohesion.Demonstrates a service orientation and approach when working with others.Strong sense of urgency and problem solving skills.Strong organizational skills with ability to set priorities.Ability to effectively interface with all departments of the company in a professional manner.Ability to work independently.Excellent written and verbal communications skills.Promotes company culture, including coaching, cross-training, building our workplace, etc.Performs any other assigned duty, as directed by management.Physical Requirements:The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
