The Opportunity: Texas Radiology Associates is hiring a Reading Room Assistant to support our Radiologists to ensure that images are routed to the appropriate area for interpretation. Job Summary: The Radiology Reading Room Assistant is a vital member of the administrative support team, responsible for ensuring that radiologic images are properly routed for interpretation. This role supports Radiologists by maintaining efficient imaging workflows, facilitating timely report delivery to referring facilities, and assisting with various clerical and communication tasks. The Assistant also serves as a key contact for physicians, patients, hospital staff, and external offices regarding imaging results and related inquiries. Shifts: Thursday: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AMFriday: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AMSaturday: 4:00 PM - 2:00 AMSunday 4:00 PM - 2:00 AM Duties/Responsibilities: Enhance patient safety and radiology workflow by increasing efficiency and productivity. Distribute and maintain control of radiology imaging results. Perform related clerical duties such as answering phones and handling correspondence with referring offices regarding mutual patients. Assist physicians, patients, hospital staff, and others with requests for imaging results and other tasks as needed. Serve as a resource to film libraries. Establish and maintain positive working relationships with physician offices, medical facilities, clinical physicians, patients, and other hospital staff. Other duties as assigned.
