In this job, you’ll lead cross‑system technology initiatives that advance enterprise priorities through disciplined execution, strong coordination, and proactive risk management, while maintaining a strong focus on delivery quality. You’ll translate strategy into action by aligning business, IT, vendor, and governance partners across data, analytics, and automation efforts—bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to complex, high‑visibility work. Operating as a trusted partner to business and technology stakeholders, you’ll help maintain stakeholder confidence, drive clear decision‑making, and ensure initiatives deliver meaningful, scalable outcomes that remain aligned with organizational priorities. “Incident Management Team Expected Participation”: Employees are expected to support emergency response and/or business continuity efforts, including readiness to serve on an Incident Management Team (IMT) when needed. Employees will participate in an on‑call rotation (approximately every four to six weeks), to support IMT activations during emergency events. IMT assignments may differ from an individual’s regular responsibilities. Responsibilities Manages activities of one or more large, mid to long-term projects with responsibility for results in terms of costs, methods and outcomes. Develops business plans, objectives and initiatives for the organization. Provides inputs to organizational objectives and policies and ensures delivery of results. Engages regularly with senior management as a key consultant on critical business issues. Identifies and manages resolution of major or complex project issues in order to meet goals of the project and maintain timeline and budget for the project. Implements, establishes, and maintains key strategic metrics that ensure project effectiveness. Maintains transparent and efficient resource planning and allocation process for ongoing projects within the assigned area of responsibility; Ensures all on‑going project strategies are in compliance with SCE standards, as well as political and regulatory requirements when applicable. Develops resource and financial requirements from the project plan; Analyzes and determines regulatory impacts and requirements of the project. Analyses project portfolio performance and financial reporting, continuously improving reporting using multiple tools and key performance metric tracking; Facilitates the internal information exchange for key stakeholders by providing project status reports. Identifies project performance issues, analyzes and addresses them in a timely manner. A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Ten or more years of experience in project management. Preferred Qualifications Experience working in regulated, matrixed, or large enterprise organizations where governance, controls, and alignment are critical. Agile or project management certifications such as PMP, CSM, CSPO, PMI-ACP, or SAFe are preferred but not required. Experience with Automation Tools e.g.: UiPath / Power Automate. Experience running projects for Generative AI and LLM’s. Experience managing business, operational, or process improvement initiatives, including those that may be technology enabled or automation supported. Experience preparing and delivering executive ready communications, including presentations, multi‑year roadmaps, portfolio views, status updates, issue/risk summaries, and decision support materials to enable informed leadership decisions. Experience partnering with customer‑facing business teams, including call center, revenue services, customer programs and demand response, compliance, or other related business functions. Ability to provide execution discipline, risk awareness, and delivery quality oversight while navigating ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving enterprise needs. Strong execution mindset with proven ability to translate enterprise strategy into actionable delivery plans, prioritize work based on value and risk, and sustain momentum in dynamic, enterprise environments. Additional Information This position’s work mode is hybrid . The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage.
