Job Details:

• Required Qualifications: Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS). Valid license as a Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience. Location in Gainesville, Florida, preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Previous travel experience, ability to adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment, and capacity to work independently.

  • Unit: Gainesville Hospital Rehabilitation Unit
  • Number of Beds: 30
  • Number of Staff: 22
  • Types of Staff: Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Speech-Language Pathologists, Technicians
  • Typical Procedures: Patient evaluations, activities of daily living (ADLs), transfers, family/patient education, gait training, therapeutic exercises, functional training
  • Equipment: Balance and gait systems, typical inpatient rehab gym equipment
  • Documentation System: Meditech (Expanse)
  • Call Requirements: Weekend rotation
