We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.Job Title: Software Developer 2Location(s): Austin, TX Job Description Research, design, implement, and manage software programs. Test and evaluate new programs while working closely with other developers, UX designers, business analysts, and systems analysts.Design, code, and modify complex computer programs, subroutines, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes, and scripts using Angular, C#, ASP.NET, and Oracle Database.Perform necessary testing of assigned programs, including:Generating test dataWriting test scripts and execution sequencesExamining test resultsDebugging detected errorsSupporting issue resolution, performance improvements, and enhancementsUse current software development methods and techniques and established development standards, including programming, documentation, and testing standards, to ensure application quality and maintainability.Participate in code reviews to ensure compliance with development standards and system and business requirements.Minimum Qualifications7 years of experience in computer programming, analysis, and development of complex business processes and system solutions7 years of experience coding, testing, and debugging programs that are in development or require support for issue resolution, performance, or enhancements7 years of experience processing information logically, designing programs and systems logic, and preparing program specifications7 years of highly developed oral and written communication skills7 years of experience demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with others, motivate employees, and elicit work output7 years of knowledge and understanding of Information Technology industry trends, directions, and market experience, with the ability to relate them to an organization7 years of knowledge of architectural concepts, principles, and tools relevant to infrastructure, information, applications, organizational structure, and related areas7 years of knowledge of emerging technologies, including technologies new to company systems and those emerging within the information systems industry7 years of knowledge of tools, techniques, and best practices for protecting the integrity of corporate data and associated processing, technology practices, standards, and procedures7 years of experience with solution delivery utilizing Agile or Scrum methodologyPreferred Qualifications2 years of familiarity with agency information architecture and information management methodologies2 years of familiarity with existing and planned software technology and global, regional, and local software architecture and infrastructure componentsAmpcus is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
