New Videographer Opportunity – West LA Jobot Job is hosted by: Audrey Block Salary: $75,000 - $90,000 per year Job Details We are on the hunt for a creative Videographer to join our tech startup. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, editing, and delivering outstanding video content for our company. This role involves a high level of professional creativity, speed, and the ability to visualize the end product even before filming has begun. If you are passionate about storytelling and can captivate an audience through visual media in an upscale environment, then we would love to hear from you. Responsibilities Collaborate with our team to develop and execute video content that aligns with our brand and business goals. Operate and maintain all video equipment including cameras, recording equipment, lenses, lighting, and other on-set equipment. Plan and execute video shoots, including scouting locations, setting up and breaking down sets, and managing all logistics. Assist in directing on-screen talent and provide guidance on their delivery and presentation. Edit footage to create polished and engaging videos, incorporating graphics, effects, and other visual elements as needed. Continually discover and implement new editing technologies and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency. Participate in brainstorming sessions to share new design perspectives and ideas. Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the latest videography trends and techniques. Qualifications 2+ years of professional videography experience, preferably in the legal or tech industry, freelance work, startups, or high level cinematic work. Bachelor’s degree in Film, Media, or a related field is required (ideally from AFI, USC or UCLA). Proficient in the use of professional cameras, recording equipment, lenses, and lighting. Some experience in directing on-screen talent and managing on-set logistics. Exceptional ability to conceptualize, shoot, and edit video content. Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar. Excellent understanding of color grading and audio editing. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
